Materials
I take great care in selecting materials for my creations.
The materials I use are bought locally with a commitment to supporting the environment and the community.
All earring hooks are made of 100% stainless steel. This is a hypoallergenic material great for sensitive ears. If you would like another material like silver or gold, contact me and I am happy to switch them for a cost
All earring hooks are a closed leaver back style, this is done so to prevent loss when wearing earrings.
The glass beads I use are sourced from Japan and the Czech Republic, ensuring their quality and uniqueness.
One of a Kind?
Each earring is a unique creation, made only a few times. Occasionally, I revisit styles with new colors or updated designs, but I never mass-produce, ensuring that every piece remains special.
Packaging
All our packaging is eco-friendly and recyclable. Orders are shipped using eco-friendly mailers. Earrings are secured on a strip of leather to keep them paired together and are placed in a paper envelope

Storing & Caring for your Jewelry
When you're not wearing your jewelry, store your beaded earrings flat or hang them to prevent kinks and damage. When traveling, keep them in a dust bag, away from other items that might snag or pull on the threads. Remember, while the beads are glass and beautifully crafted, they are fragile under pressure. Proper care will help ensure they stay in excellent condition

Shipping Processing Time
The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. 3-7 Is standard, as most items are made to order. If you need an item within a time frame reach out to me by email and we can discuss processing time and a rush order. I am more than happy to accommodate this.

North America: 7- 14 business business days depending on how far away you are
Europe: 2 weeks to 1 month, air mail
Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 2 weeks to one month, air mail.

Local pick up can be done if you live in Vancouver BC,

Customs & Import Taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
Repairs & Damages
If your item breaks at any time, please shoot me a message and I will do my best to fix it for you or figure out another option.
Common repairs and damages I tended to are thread has come lose, beads have been smashed, a earring hook has come off, or a earring has been lost.
I am open to creating a match to your lost earring and fixing any kind of damages, contact me by e-mail preferably with a photo and a order number. We will discuss cost/arrangements/time frame based on the situation and budget.
Shipping will need to be purchased depending on the situation.
Returns & Exchanges
I gladly accept exchanges however I do not accept returns or cancellations!
Just contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back to me within: 30 days of delivery
Conditions of return:
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Somerton Studios is the work of Hannah, where each piece is handcrafted through a slow, meditative process. Inspired by nature and ancestral wisdom, every design is carefully made with attention to detail, creating a unique connection between the piece and its wearer.
I create and reside on the West Coast of BC. This is the stolen homelands of the Katzie (q̓ic̓əy̓) and Kwantlen (qʼʷa:n̓ƛʼən̓) First Nations. With deep gratitude I acknowledge the incredible gift and honour it is to create here.
